Trump Falls Victim To Surveillance State; Pushes To Expand It Anyway

As the Obamagate spy scandal unfolds before our very eyes, we are once again confronted with the spectre of a massive all-encompassing security state. The main story about the Obama administration is yet another example of the apparatus of State being used against an increasingly alienated, diversified and hostile populace.

Daily Caller broke the story:

Michael Doran, former NSC senior director, told TheDCNF Monday that “somebody blew a hole in the wall between national security secrets and partisan politics.” This “was a stream of information that was supposed to be hermetically sealed from politics and the Obama administration found a way to blow a hole in that wall,” he said.

Doran charged that potential serious crimes were undertaken because “this is a leaking of signal intelligence.” “That’s a felony,” he told TheDCNF. “And you can get 10 years for that. It is a tremendous abuse of the system. We’re not supposed to be monitoring American citizens. Bigger than the crime, is the breach of public trust.” Waurishuk said he was most dismayed that “this is now using national intelligence assets and capabilities to spy on the elected, yet-to-be-seated president.” “We’re looking at a potential constitutional crisis from the standpoint that we used an extremely strong capability that’s supposed to be used to safeguard and protect the country,” he said. “And we used it for political purposes by a sitting president. That takes on a new precedent.”

Watergate has nothing on this scandal, but of course, unlike Nixon, Trump has to rely on alternative media to bring the scandal home as the liberal media seems loath to investigate the former president. SNL and the New York Times are on the same page in lampooning Trump for even suggesting that he was being surveilled. It is unlikely that they change tack now.

Of course, while President may have inherited this massive security apparatus from his predecessors, it seems that he is loath to roll it back.

The Trump administration does not want to reform an internet surveillance law to address privacy concerns, a White House official told Reuters on Wednesday, saying it is needed to protect national security…The FISA law has been criticized by privacy and civil liberties advocates as allowing broad, intrusive spying. It gained renewed attention following the 2013 disclosures by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden that the agency carried out widespread monitoring of emails and other electronic communications.

This is unfortunate. The first worrying sign was when Trump has signed a bill that allows ISP companies to trade and sell users data.

In fact, President Trump seems to want expand the powers of the intelligence agencies. He recently gifted the CIA drone strike powers. Before this, the CIA had to go through the Pentagon to actually launch the attack. Now they don’t. And it makes accountability even murkier. The CIA operates in secrecy.

Ever hear of the NGA? Apparently there exists yet another alphabet soup spy agency:

Foreign Policy reports that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, or NGA, is an obscure spy agency former President Barack Obama had a hard time wrapping his mind around back in 2009. But as the president grew fond of drone warfare, finding a way to launch wars without having to go through Congress for the proper authorization, the NGA also became more relevant. Now, President Donald Trump is expected to further explore the multibillion-dollar surveillance network. Prior to Trump’s inauguration, the NGA only targeted the Middle East or whatever spy satellites orbiting the globe captured. As far as most of us knew, the agency refrained from pointing its ultra-high-resolution cameras toward the United States. That alone may be why the NGA has been able to stay out of scandals for the most part.

And yet we know that the NGA has been used domestically before. From Zerohedge:

A partially redacted March 2016 report released by the Pentagon revealed that drones had already been used domestically on about 20 or fewer occasions between 2006 and 2015. Though some of these operations mostly involved natural disasters, National Guard training, and search and rescue missions, quotes from an Air Force law review article found their way into the report. In it, Dawn M. K. Zoldi wrote that technology designed to spy on targets abroad could soon be used against American citizens.

As the nation winds down these wars,” the report explains, and ”assets become available to support other combatant command (COCOM) or U.S. agencies, the appetite to use them in the domestic environment to collect airborne imagery continues to grow.

Does this surprise anyone? In a couple of months a new leaker will emerge who reveals that in fact Alex Jones was right and the NGA or NSA was actually secretly monitoring the entire Northern Hemisphere. All somewhat legally of course. Few will understand the lawyer talk that will dominate the CSPAN coverage of bespectecled nerd Generals flanked by JAGs testifying in front of Rand Paul.

From Wikileaks we have learned about how the Vault 7 leaks seem to reveal that the intelligence agencies are capable of faking cyberattacks on the United States.

WikiLeaks has published hundreds more files today which it claims show the CIA went to great lengths to disguise its own hacking attacks and point the finger at Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. The 676 files released today are part of WikiLeaks’ Vault 7 tranche of files and they claim to give an insight into the CIA’s Marble software, which can forensically disguise viruses, trojans and hacking attacks. WikiLeaks says the source code suggests Marble has test examples in Chinese, Russian, Korean, Arabic and Farsi (the Iranian language). It says: ‘This would permit a forensic attribution double game, for example by pretending that the spoken language of the malware creator was not American English, but Chinese.’ This could lead forensic investigators into wrongly concluding that CIA hacks were carried out by the Kremlin, the Chinese government, Iran, North Korea or Arabic-speaking terror groups such as ISIS.

The intelligence agencies then are capable of pulling off  cyber false-flag attacks… Will the press reveal one day in the future an attack from the evil White Nationalist hacker named 4chinz that will justify a shut down of the Hateosphere? Why not? We already know the American deep state is deeply antagonistic to movements like the Alt-Right. Many of us already assume we are in the massive dragnet that Edward Snowden revealed.

The Alt-Right needs to advocate for Patriotic Intelligence Agency Reform.

  • Trump can pursue the same policies to use against Obama and the Deep State. That’s probably what he’s going to do. Either way, Whites should be worried about building a Deep Nation in America and encouraging the social collapse.

  • Intelligence maybe a misnomer. A few years ago, the UN, and the Russians declared that Assad had gotten rid of all of his chemical weapons. Now he is accused of having and using sophisticated chemical weapons, Where did these chemical weapons like Sarin come from? Russia, Germany, the USA? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarin

  • Americans allowed themselves to be brow-beaten into buying the stupid “Al Qaeda” conspiracy theory of 2001 – even when the entire b.s. started to fall apart (the “anthrax attack” was direct from the US military at Ft. Meade, and the “DC sniper” was “former” US military as well, don’t even get me started on the WTC nonsense.)

Even Trump, the day of, called bullshit, but was likely threatened and knew better than to make too big a fuss.

So Americans chickened out, refused to call bullshit, and welcomed the police state with open arms.

We know that Trump knows the deal, but he’s so in bed with Likud he’ll likely make it worse, not better. Ah well, this is what America gets for being cowardly and believing whatever bullshit they show on the boob-tube. At least the younger generation seems a bit more skeptical about things, maybe we’ll just have to wait until the last of the idiot conservative baby-boomers die off to start fixing things.

    • Sorry, HR, but the Patriot Act was written up well before the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were hit. No bill is put together and implemented that fast. By the time the entire thing fell apart, the National Security State was already plugged in. So, the big question is not about eliminating this apparatus, but running it. The issue has to be who controls it and we all better pray to God that it ends up being controlled by our guys or the alternative is too scary and depressing to contemplate.

I didn’t think Trump would be a miracle worker, but he was definitely the lesser of two evils when it came to the prospect of that witch, Hillary Rodham Clinton, parking her broom at the White House again. Trump may not make things better for White people, though I think he’ll do his best on some things, but he definitely won’t make thing worse. All we’re doing is hopefully buying time with him.

      • That’s the point, isn’t it? Much of this goes back to the OKC bombing. The original conspiracy for that one had to do with “White Supreemacists” working hand in hand with Shiite and Sunni Muslims – it’s just the Muslim angle was dropped early on and sent to rewrite as it was just too silly for anyone to believe. (ICAReviews has done excellent work on that.)

I’m not making any sort of “libertarian” point here – I’m fine with the NSA. It’s just that Americans allowed the Zionist 5th Column to worm their way into the security apparatus and bought into the “radical Moose-lims with Korans in their trunks fight ‘Merica for Allah” conspiracy theories. The DC Sniper and Anthrax Attacks are acknowledged to be “inside jobs” – there is no debate on that from anyone. But instead of getting to the bottom of it people just let it slide and played along. Even when the Iraqi WMD scam went south, all Americans did was vote for the same neo-cons under a different party label.

Trump, the day of, called bullshit. To his credit. But guess who placed the Israeli spy, Golan Ciphel, as the “boyfriend” of Governor Jim “I am a gay American” McGreevy who put him in charge of NJ Homeland security? That’s right, Jared Kushner’s father. Later Kushner Jr. seduces Ivanka Trump and now their entire family has been assimilated into the Borg.

I’m all for pulling out the tick and putting real Americans back in charge of the Deep State but clearly Trump is making it worse, not better. At least the patriots kept Trump’s neo-con buddy Flynn from starting a war with Iran.

Oh yea, guess who was instrumental in selling the Anthrax Attack conspiracy theory to the public? That’s right, Vice President Mike Pence.

I guess everyone just slept through the last 20 years as no one seems to remember anything anymore.

        • Wait, I knew that the Anthrax Scare didn’t quite meet the sniff test. No one of any importance died. But the DC Sniper? I thought it was some guy trying to kill his estranged wife and cover it up with a mass shooting. If you have any new info on that, I’d love to read it.

  • This has been a problem with Trump since the beginning of his campaign – his embrace of the National Security State, in all it’s manifestations: military, intelligence, and law-enforcement. Of course, things would not have been much different int hat regard had Hillary won.

    • The National Security State will continue growing no matter who would have won. It’s here to stay. The big question is …. who will control it? Whites better pull their collective heads out of whatever Muh Constitution, Muh Freedom Orifice they are stuck in. We need to worry less that it exists and more about who controls it.

      • I don’t entirely disagree with you. A government built around the idea of “muh freedom” is my ideal, but it is an ideal that can only be realized in a NWC (Nice White Country). On the other hand, the National Security State would itself be easier to control if it were smaller. I certainly don’t welcome any expansion in its size or scope.
