The Deep State Politically Assassinated Michael Flynn

Damon Linker writes in The Week:

“Unelected intelligence analysts work for the president, not the other way around. Far too many Trump critics appear not to care that these intelligence agents leaked highly sensitive information to the press — mostly because Trump critics are pleased with the result. “Finally,” they say, “someone took a stand to expose collusion between the Russians and a senior aide to the president!” It is indeed important that someone took such a stand. But it matters greatly who that someone is and how they take their stand. Members of the unelected, unaccountable intelligence community are not the right someone, especially when they target a senior aide to the president by leaking anonymously to newspapers the content of classified phone intercepts, where the unverified, unsubstantiated information can inflict politically fatal damage almost instantaneously. …

But no matter what Flynn did, it is simply not the role of the deep state to target a man working in one of the political branches of the government by dishing to reporters about information it has gathered clandestinely. It is the role of elected members of Congress to conduct public investigations of alleged wrongdoing by public officials.

Those cheering the deep state torpedoing of Flynn are saying, in effect, that a police state is perfectly fine so long as it helps to bring down Trump. …”

Eli Lake writes at Bloomberg View:

“Flynn was a fat target for the national security state. He has cultivated a reputation as a reformer and a fierce critic of the intelligence community leaders he once served with when he was the director the Defense Intelligence Agency under President Barack Obama. Flynn was working to reform the intelligence-industrial complex, something that threatened the bureaucratic prerogatives of his rivals.

He was also a fat target for Democrats. Remember Flynn’s breakout national moment last summer was when he joined the crowd at the Republican National Convention from the dais calling for Hillary Clinton to be jailed.

In normal times, the idea that U.S. officials entrusted with our most sensitive secrets would selectively disclose them to undermine the White House would alarm those worried about creeping authoritarianism. Imagine if intercepts of a call between Obama’s incoming national security adviser and Iran’s foreign minister leaked to the press before the nuclear negotiations began? The howls of indignation would be deafening.

In the end, it was Trump’s decision to cut Flynn loose. In doing this he caved in to his political and bureaucratic opposition. Nunes told me Monday night that this will not end well. “First it’s Flynn, next it will be Kellyanne Conway, then it will be Steve Bannon, then it will be Reince Priebus,” he said. Put another way, Flynn is only the appetizer. Trump is the entree.”

Noah Millman writes in The American Conservative:

“It certainly looks at this point like major elements within the national security bureaucracy are prepared to create a constitutional crisis in response to what they believe is a serious and real threat to American national security from the White House itself. And there is really only one way to avoid such a crisis: for Congress to step up and begin the necessary investigations of the Trump administration. …”

Just so we are clear, we all agree what just happened:

We have two governments, one elected and the other unelected, which are at war with each other.

The CIA has a long history of subverting foreign governments. We’ve also seen the “Color Revolutions” in foreign countries. Now, we’re seeing the same people try to do the same thing here.

  • Spencer, my main issue with you is your being gay. There is quite a lot I could do to help your cause, but I will not work with a gay man on such a risky endeavor. Gay men are too flighty.

  • Congratulations Brad! You finally learned of the Deep State’s existence. The problem is you and
this entire movement were largely ignorant on the matter until it
    affected you indirectly.

What happened to Michael Flynn was even shocking to me, a hardware and software engineer. I have seen quite a lot of doxxing activity. But even I was surprised that the IC doxxed Flynn. This is a watershed moment in history.

  • The CIA was started as the OSS, by FDR, at the behest of William Stephenson, a British spy. It was infiltrated, from the very beginning, by British intelligence. Remember Charles Lindbergh’s famous statement that the war was being pushed by three groups: the FDR administration, the British, and the Jews. Those three groups were the driving force behind the creation of the CIA.

While the traditional critics of the CIA have come from the left, mostly due to the whole JFK and RFK thing, the main cultural product of the CIA has been to promote a “non-Communist left” – a left that focused on social issues as opposed to economic issues and was compatible with capitalism and the oligarchs that run America. In fact, the actual “cultural Marxists” of the Frankfurt School were employed by the same foundations (Rockefeller, etc.) that the CIA worked for.

CIA spend the post-war years using their media outlets (Time Inc., Playboy magazine, etc.) promoting “Black power” radicalism, sexual liberation, ethnic cleansing of especially Catholic urban neighborhoods via paying Black gangs, and trafficking in drugs like heroin and later cocaine. Sure – all of this was extremely illegal, the CIA isn’t supposed to use propaganda against US citizens, but they’ve always been above the law.

George H. W. Bush was a pivotal player in the CIA from the Kennedy assassinations until his presidency, so perhaps it is not a surprise that the CIA now seems solidly against Trump – but let’s not forget that Trump himself has some extremely long standing ties to CIA front businesses (not to mention certain other intelligence agencies of foreign countries.)

People love the James Bond style stories and “exposing” the drug trafficking, but CIA really gets its power through propaganda. The Washington Post is basically the CIA’s house organ (Bezos recently came under fire for not disclosing WP’s direct contract with CIA) and CIA also runs In-Q-Tel, which is an openly CIA funded venture capital firm that invests in internet startups. Reddit.com of course was funded by the In-Q-Tel network and now it’s owned by Advance Publications, which is a firm with very likely ties to that other, foreign intel agency that never seems to get enough exposure.

It would very much help the pro-White movement to understand how the CIA specifically, and the intelligence agencies in general, both domestic and foreign, operate. The article’s graphic of the “Deep State” completely misses the mark – that’s not the Deep State. It’s just more complex than black and white, good guys and bad guys, so we’re still working on a way to educate the simple-minded. Believe it or not, there are people in the CIA that are far more sympathetic to we pro-Whites than you might realize. Certainly, the blacks and the browns are convinced that the CIA (and all the other three letter agencies) are secretly run by White Supremacists.

Oh by the way, someone tell Richard that he’s got to try the ribs at Backyard BBQ on Sycamore St, Absolutely fantastic. Tell them Hipster sent you.

  • I agree with this analysis. Deep State, DS, is a good name for the constellation of forces that will take Trump out. He appears to have no defence. The patriots in the security services that might have stepped forward have simply been sold the story that he’s a Russian asset. Consequently they want him gone. Flynn obviously didn’t infringe the Logan Act and the fact that Trump sacrificed him shows, I think, that he decided he couldn’t defend him and possibly started to believe himself that Flynn did “a bad thing”, which he didn’t. Trump is now trying to defend himself. The DS has changed its objectives from 1) Start a war with Russia to 1) Impeach Trump and remove him 2) Start a war with Russia. This puts the white replacement programme back a while but it’s really just a glitch. The globalist agenda is being pressed home. Maybe Trump’s demise will be used as the final excuse for war with Russia. They’ll be accused of inserting a traitor President into the White House and this will be the “Act of War” that makes the DS nuke Moscow. In self defence. Obviously.

    • I don’t think you’re that far off. I can’t understand the motivation for total destruction. In any case, Trump is basically alone. He has a few he can trust but not many. None of this is really a surprise. It’s a bummer. It sucks. But it’s not a surprise. I expected things to crash even faster. They don’t need riots or any of that anymore. Maybe the next chapter will be ‘Surviving Globalism’…

      • Globalists have power to define the truth. I heard an interesting short interview with Ciaran Martin and Michael Fallon on a BBC radio programme. The link is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08dnpnr The interview segment runs from 02:36:30 to 02:42:28.

Martin is Chief Executive of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre which was opened by the Queen on 14/02/2017 and Fallon is the UK’s Secretary of State for Defence. In his own glib and emollient manner Fallon says something quite shocking, not just politically shocking, but epistemollogically shocking about the intrinsic wickedness of the Russians. This is at 02:39:00.

Fallon asserts that the Russians have been “weaponising misinformation” using “various techniques” such as “denying things”!!! The “things” in question include the poisoning of (Alexander) Litvinenko in London in 2006 and the
downing of airliner MH17 over Ukraine in 2014.
Fallon’s impressive trompe l’oeil here is first to state that the Russians are clearly guilty on these and many other counts and then to state that their refusal to own up (presumably because they didn’t do it) makes them guilty of “weaponising misinformtion”. This is brilliant. Fallon acuses the Russians of multiple murder and when they (rightly) deny it he acuses them of “weaponising misinformation”. Look and learn Chuck Schumer!

  • Grab the Popcorn. Bannon and Miller are trying to kneecap Priebus and Spicer.

We can only hope the GOPe wing is forced out of the White House. The GOPe wing is responsible for forcing out Flynn, now they’re responsible for Spicer’s statement that Trump wants Putin to cede back Crimea to Ukraine.

If this is from Breitbart, you know Bannon is leaking this. We want Bannon to purge the GOPe cucks and fight the Deep State CIA spooks who get fat off hostilities with Russia.
